Let food be your medicine. Agrishala is a wholistic simplification of a consumer with his food. —
TODO.md
A city dweller does not know where his food comes from, and has no idea about the people who work hard to make it available to every person. The food on his plate is correct in nutrition and wrong in relationship. He eats from a system he cannot name.
AgriShala is a working farm and a small, slow product built around it. We turn the distance between a city plate and a field of soil into something a working household can cross every week, and eventually every quarter or weekend.
The platform is structured as three pillars on one farm:
| Pillar | What it is | What the consumer does |
|---|---|---|
| Subscription | The 1-acre is zoned. You subscribe to a plot. Weekly delivery to your door, with photo updates from your plot beforehand. | Eats from a known field. |
| Experience | The farm has stay, a kitchen, and proximity to BRT wildlife, the Soliga community, the Jenumutti temple, the Tibetan settlement. | Visits. Cooks. Celebrates. |
| Sustenance | Gau Shala, Agnihotra, composting, seed-saving, value-added products (ghee, honey, soap, pickles) for the wider market. | Trusts the farm to outlast the trend. |
The first site is Lokkanahalli, on the edge of the BRT Tiger Reserve in Karnataka, run by Jayapal (Bamboo Cafe). It already hosts a 2-day immersive workshop — the scroll-narrative site in this repo — that has proven the educational angle. We expand it outward, not away from it.

Know the field that feeds you. Visit it when you can. Help it stand on its own.
